How do PRP Injections work?
The Vampire Facial works by using your own platelet cells from a portion of your own blood, rich in growth factors and stem cells to regenerate and remodel the skin naturally increasing elasticity and collagen production. The skin is re-plumped and rejuvenated; fine lines and wrinkles are reduced to create a youthful, radiant glow.

 

PRP injections are hugely successful in the treatment of areas such as, crow’s feet, “crepey” eyelids, thinning hair, acne scars and wrinkles.

 

The beauty of having PRP treatment is that it uses your own blood; it contains no foreign or synthetic chemicals and therefore has no side effects. The result is smoother, younger looking skin. Vampire Facial treatment results continue to improve over a period of 6-12 weeks.

 

How many treatments are required?
Most clients will require a course of 3 Platelet Rich Plasma treatments depending on area and condition being treatment. Treatments normally occur at 6-8 week intervals.

 

Downtime:

Slight swelling may be experienced but this will usually resolve in 24-72 hours. In cases where patients are prone to bruising easily, slight bruising may be evident, but as with any other filler, this is easily covered with make-up. Most clients feel comfortable going back to their normal activities immediately and back to work the following day.
